"Building Critical Conversations in Geography"

Please join us for the Society of South African Geographers (SSAG) Conference hosted by the Department of Environmental and Geographical Science at the University of Cape Town in June 2012. We welcome this opportunity to share our research and to build the critical conversations that shape regional and global debates in geography and in our society today.

The conference provides an opportunity to present research papers and posters, to share research projects through special sessions, and to celebrate the most recent awards for SSAG fellowships, gold medals and student prizes. You are invited to submit individual papers and posters as well as special sessions (collections of maximum four papers organised around a specific theme).

The conference will be held at the Upper Campus (Rondebosch) of the University of Cape Town.
